The police arrested a smuggler with a truckload of sugar in a raid on the Sylhet-Tamabil highway. On Friday (September 27) around four o’clock in the night, the person was arrested with a truckload of Indian sugar from the Bateshwar area of \u200b\u200bthe highway.<\/p>\n
The arrested person is Ala Uddin (42), son of deceased Lutfur Rahman, a resident of Paschim Thakur Mati area of \u200b\u200bJaintapur Upazila.<\/p>\n
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police (Media) Mohammad Saiful Islam has confirmed the truth.<\/p>\n
According to the police and local sources, last Thursday (September 26) around 4:00 pm, the police arrested the person in a truck from Bateswar area of \u200b\u200bSylhet-Tamabil highway. During the search, 99 sacks of Indian stolen sugar were found. The police seized the truck with the stolen sugar and arrested a smuggler who was with it.
