The incident took place on Friday (October 4) evening in Salutikar area.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The deceased policeman is &#8211; SI Kazi Atiqur Rahman (36) working in Industrial Police Sylhet region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is known that Atiqur Rahman went to Gowainghat police station on a motorcycle for official work. On his way back, his motorcycle collided with a speeding pickup at Salutikar area. Atiqur Rahman died on the spot. A policeman who was with him was injured.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile, the body of the deceased was recovered and sent to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital for postmortem.
