\u201cVery naturally, when there is confusion in politics, instability will arise. Due to this instability, every person in the country will face problems. Because whenever there is political instability\u2026 if we cannot ensure political stability, then no matter how many reforms we announce, no matter how many policies we adopt, none of them will be successful.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tarique said, \u201cIf the politics of the country is unstable, it will affect the economy and the economy will affect everything. Even those of you who are in the legal profession will very naturally affect your profession.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cLet\u2019s say a small grocery shopkeeper, let\u2019s say a rickshaw puller, let\u2019s say a CNG driver, let\u2019s say a medium-sized businessman, no matter who we talk about, it will affect every field and every person will be affected.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u2018If the parliament is delayed, instability will increase\u2019<\/p>\n
Tareek Rahman said, \u201cThis should be our main goal, the main goal of every person, including the interim government, should definitely be to bring the country to a stable state as soon as possible in the coming days. When we bring the country to a stable state\u2026 what is acceptable in the whole world, whether it is political instability or political discussion, political debate, we should bring it to the parliament. Parliament is the most important place where whatever the discussion and decision is, it takes place inside the parliament.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u2018\u2018We will delay the functioning of a parliament, this instability, this debate will spread all around outside the parliament, and the more it spreads outside the parliament, the more instability will appear everywhere, starting from the economy, starting from the social situation, starting from all places, which will harm the country as a whole.\u201d<\/p>\n
On Sunday afternoon, the Dhaka Bar Nationalist Lawyers Forum organized a training workshop titled \u201831 Points for Repairing the State Structure and Public Relations\u2019 at the auditorium of the Dhaka Bar Association.<\/p>\n
Describing lawyers as a mirror of society, Tarique Rahman wanted \u2018the role of lawyers in bringing stability to the country\u2019.<\/p>\n
He said, \u2018\u2018The sooner we establish a status quo in the country, whether we will do this first or that first, whether we will do that first or that first\u2026 If this debate continues, the nation as a whole will suffer more\u2026 The country will definitely suffer and various problems will arise.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018\u2018That is why we, from the position of BNP, think that as a political party, as a political activist, the sooner we can bring a status quo in the country, the sooner we can gradually pull the country out of the brink of destruction.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n
Tarique said, \u2018\u2018Many people say, some people say that all problems will be solved if elections are held. Instead of saying that all the problems will be solved after the election, we can think that after the election, a stability will come in the country and gradually the reform work will start, the intensity of the problems will gradually start decreasing.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHow to solve the problems after the election will be the responsibility of different people, when they are responsible, they will sit down, discuss and work normally. Nothing will happen in a day. But the possibility of solving the problems will start.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tareq, citing the statements of different people and media, said, \u201cI see an instability prevailing everywhere. The main reason for this instability may be that, naturally, there is an interim government at this moment\u2026 We think that this interim government means agreeing with the decision that the people of the country want to make and helping the people of the country to make decisions.. Making arrangements to help them make political decisions\u2026 This should be their (interim government) main goal.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThose who are talking about reforms\u2026 Parliament will be needed to implement these reforms.\u201d<\/p>\n
At the same time, the acting chairman of BNP also called on lawyers to spread the 31-point booklet among the public by highlighting the fact that the 31-point reform of the state structure was formulated by BNP and like-minded parties more than two years ago.<\/p>\n
