The Yemeni armed forces said they successfully carried out a joint naval, drone and missile operation on the US aircraft carrier ‘Harry S. Truman’ and its accompanying warships in the northern Red Sea.<\/p>\n
The Yemeni military said this in a statement on Thursday. Mehr news agency reported.<\/p>\n
The statement said that they carried out the attack in retaliation for more than 36 US airstrikes on Sanaa, Sa’ada and other areas of Yemen.<\/p>\n
The Yemeni military said, ‘With the grace of Almighty God, the operation was successfully completed and some of the enemy’s attacks were thwarted.’<\/p>\n
The statement said, ‘The Yemeni navy, drone units and missile command jointly carried out an unprecedented attack on the US warship using cruise missiles and drones to avenge the US aggression.’<\/p>\n
The Yemeni army said, “The attacks on enemy targets in the Red Sea region will continue and our operations will continue until the attacks and blockade on Gaza are completely lifted.”<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the Lebanese-based media outlet Al-Mayadeen reported that the Yemeni military has shot down a US MQ-9 Reaper drone. The drone was shot down in the sky over Al-Hudaydah province.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, no information has been released on the losses of US forces as a result of the attack by Yemen. However, Yemeni authorities have alleged that several civilians were killed in the attack by US warplanes in Sa’ada province.<\/p>\n
