So that our children do not suffer from malnutrition, mid-day meal is being introduced in every primary school across Bangladesh, said Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon.<\/p>\n
He said these things at the inauguration ceremony of the national-level Primary School Gold Cup Football Tournament (Boys and Girls) 2026 at Mirpur National Bangla School and College on Thursday (June 4).<\/p>\n
The Education Minister said, \u2018By this year, every school and college student will get mid-day meal.\u2019<\/p>\n
The Minister said, \u2018I am going to hold the event today, I think it is a record in the world. More than 65,000 institutions are represented here. The Messi of the future will come out of here. We are creating them safe and for sports from this young age. We have seen women winning in the Asian Games.\u2019<\/p>\n
He said, \u2018According to our plan, not a single school will be without food. Not a single school will be without a table. No student will be left without a school uniform. We are making all kinds of comfortable education arrangements for them. They will move forward. We do not want to see children going to institutions with bags full of books. They will build the Bangladesh of the future through competition, laughing and playing.\u2019<\/p>\n
