A scramble for safe shelter ensued across the city. As the intensity of the rain increased, major roads became waterlogged, leading to severe traffic congestion.<\/p>\n
The Meteorological Office reported significant rainfall in various parts of the capital, including Palam and Najafgarh. Moderate to heavy rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, is expected to continue across most parts of the city. Wind speeds could potentially reach 50 to 60 kilometers per hour in some areas.<\/p>\n
The incessant rain has created a high risk of waterlogging in the city’s low-lying areas. Amidst these adverse conditions, the Meteorological Department has advised the public to avoid venturing outdoors unless necessary and has urged commuters to exercise caution.<\/p>\n
