Social Welfare Minister Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain stated that under no circumstances do they believe in religious division\u2014or any other form of division\u2014nor will they allow anyone else to foster such divisions. He said, &#8220;This country belongs to all of us\u2014you and me alike. The current government does not want anyone to suffer harm due to religious or political differences.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He made these remarks on Friday morning (September 4) while addressing an exchange meeting and reception ceremony organized by the Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad at the Birampur Barowari Temple premises in Dinajpur, marking the occasion of Janmashtami.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Social Welfare Minister said, &#8220;We want to assure you that you can practice your religion and pursue your professions and work without hindrance or fear, treating this as your own country. Together, we want to build an even more beautiful Bangladesh\u2014a land of religious harmony. There is absolutely no room here for hatred, malice, coercion, or oppression. Everyone should be free to observe their religious programs and festivals according to their own beliefs, without facing any obstacles.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He added, &#8220;We have lived together for centuries and will continue to do so in the future. We will all work together for the welfare of Bangladesh.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zahid Hossain stated, &#8220;Not just in the Dinajpur-6 constituency, but across the entire country, people of all faiths\u2014Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, and Christians\u2014will live together in harmony. We are all Bangladeshis; that is our identity. Embracing this identity, we will move Bangladesh forward.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Social Welfare Minister emphasized, &#8220;No one will be allowed to fall victim to injustice, oppression, persecution, land grabbing, or extortion. The current government will not tolerate such acts under any circumstances. The administration, law enforcement agencies, and our party leaders and activists at all levels will stand by your side.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier, the Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad honored the Social Welfare Minister and the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) with flowers and a crest.
