Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, the Amir of Islami Andolan Bangladesh and the Pir of Charmonai, stated that the people of Bangladesh will not accept a return to fascist behavior in the country. The people have cultivated the mindset to sacrifice their lives in protest against injustice; should the fires of unrest ignite, they will rise up once more.<\/p>\n
He made these remarks while addressing a public rally as the chief guest on Saturday (September 12) at 3 PM. The event was organized by the Rajarhat Upazila branch of Islami Andolan Bangladesh at the Rajarhat Cooperative Market premises.<\/p>\n
Mufti Rezaul Karim asked, “Will you adopt a fascist nature again? The people of Bangladesh have learned to struggle. They have developed the resolve to lay down their lives to protest injustice. A time will come when the fires of unrest blaze fiercely, and at that moment, we will rise up again.”<\/p>\n
He asserted that peace has never been\u2014nor will it ever be\u2014achieved through any ideology other than the principles and ideals of Islam. He urged the public to become aware of the country’s political situation and future, and to unite against injustice, irregularities, and unrest.<\/p>\n
Addressing the people of Rajarhat Upazila, the Pir of Charmonai noted that the public has voted for various candidates and parties in the past. Urging them to vote for Islam this time, he handed over the ‘Hand Fan’ (Hatpakha) symbol to three chairman candidates. He said, “Come, let us\u2014who have voted for others at various times\u2014now vote for and ensure the victory of chairman candidates who stand for Islam.”<\/p>\n
The rally was presided over by Maulana Md. Abdul Wahed, Amir of the Rajarhat Upazila branch of Islami Andolan Bangladesh. Leaders, activists, and supporters of the organization at both district and upazila levels, along with people from various walks of life, were present at the event.<\/p>\n
Speakers discussed the country’s political and social situation and called upon the public to unite against injustice and irregularities. They also emphasized the importance of following Islamic principles and ideals to establish peace in the country and society.<\/p>\n
