His body was recovered from a house in ward number 8 of the municipal headquarters behind Fulbaria College of the upazila on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n
The deceased is a final year honors student of Kabir University. He taught as a tutor in that house for about two years.<\/p>\n
According to police and local sources, Ujjal Hossain, a resident of Oman, rented the house and lived there with his wife Shireen Akhter and son studying in seventh grade. He has been staying in Oman for almost four years. One set of house keys was kept by the expatriate’s wife and another set by Kabir.<\/p>\n
On Saturday afternoon, relatives and locals found Kabir’s hanging body hanging from a room of the house. On receiving the information, the police and fire service went to the spot, broke the door and recovered the body and took it to the police station.<\/p>\n
Kabir’s mother Josna Begum alleged that her son committed suicide because of expatriate wife Shirin Akhter. He said that when Kabir went home, Shireen called him and called him home.<\/p>\n
However, Shirin Akhtar’s statement regarding this complaint was not found. The police interrogated him at the spot.<\/p>\n
Rashedul Hasan, OC of Fulbaria police station, said, “I am at the scene. The expatriate’s wife is being interrogated. The details will be known after the investigation. Police station SI Liton Mia confirmed the recovery of the body.<\/p>\n
