In an interview with CNN Esportes, Ancelotti said, “Neymar deserved to be in the World Cup squad based on his quality. However, Neymar himself has confirmed that he does not wish to return to the national team. It is impossible to find a replacement for Neymar, as he is an extraordinary and unique talent.”<\/p>\n
With the Neymar era officially over, Ancelotti aims to rebuild the squad from scratch. The goal is to cultivate a new generation capable of restoring Brazil to the pinnacle of world football by the 2030 World Cup.<\/p>\n
Sharing his vision, Ancelotti stated, “I believe we need to proceed step by step. We must now focus on young players who represent the future\u2014specifically those born in 2004, 2005, and 2006.”<\/p>\n
“We have talented youngsters born in 2008 who aren’t playing yet but are capable of doing so. It is time to look towards them, respecting and valuing their age. While it is true that a player can perform exceptionally well at 36 or 37, the priority now is to give opportunities to the youth.”<\/p>\n
