However, we have not been officially informed by the Bangladesh government yet. He further said that if anything happens, India will definitely take necessary steps to protect its own interests.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier on September 11, Jatiya Sangsad Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni said that all previous agreements and memorandum of understanding signed with India are being reviewed. The result will be known very soon. In response to questions from journalists whether issues such as the use of Chittagong and Mongla ports are covered by these agreements, he said that the benefits and terms of all agreements are currently under close review by the government and if necessary, a decision can be taken to cancel them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Chief Whip emphasized that Bangladesh wants to maintain friendly diplomatic and neighborly relations with India, but it must give the highest priority to the country&#8217;s national interests.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In response to a question about the 30-year Ganga water sharing agreement, which expires in December this year, Randhir Jaiswal said that the existing bilateral process and technical level meetings between the two countries will continue as before.
