Minister of Primary and Mass Education Dr. A.N.M. Ehsanul Haque Milan has stated that education plays a vital role in eradicating the drug problem.<\/p>\n
He made these remarks yesterday (Sunday) while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion meeting titled “Education System: Comilla Concept,” held at the Ministry of Education’s conference room.<\/p>\n
Md. Monirul Haque Chowdhury, Member of Parliament for the Comilla-6 constituency, along with heads of various educational institutions from the Comilla region and relevant officials, were present at the event.<\/p>\n
The Minister reiterated that education plays a crucial role in eliminating the drug problem.<\/p>\n
Therefore, initiatives must be taken to eradicate the drug menace from society by prioritizing education and utilizing educational institutions. In this regard, everyone\u2014including education enthusiasts, dignitaries, and social workers from every area\u2014must work together.<\/p>\n
He further remarked that teachers are akin to guardians for their students. Consequently, every teacher should view their students as their own children and educate them with that same mindset, while also fostering their moral values.<\/p>\n
He added that the Prime Minister is working by placing the utmost importance on education, and Members of Parliament from various areas are also voluntarily working towards educational development. The Minister expressed optimism that the ‘Comilla Concept’ would play a significant role in improving the education system.<\/p>\n
