Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has clearly stated that Iran will not back away from its peaceful nuclear program.<\/p>\n
He made this statement while addressing the United Nations General Assembly session on Wednesday (September 23).<\/p>\n
President Masoud Pezeshkian addressed the UN General Assembly. He emphasized that just as Iran is ready for dialogue, it is also fully prepared to firmly defend itself against aggressors.<\/p>\n
The Iranian President spoke at the 81st session of the UN General Assembly on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
According to the Mehr News Agency, at the beginning of his speech, Pezeshkian displayed photographs of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the schoolchildren from Minab who were killed on the first day of US-Israeli aggression.<\/p>\n
He noted that the United States had dropped cluster bombs on Iranian children in the Lamerd area. He remarked that while they accuse Iran of terrorism, they themselves are perpetrating the most heinous acts of terror.<\/p>\n
He stated, “Iran has not invaded or occupied any country in the last 200 years, yet it has always defended itself with determination.”<\/p>\n
Pezeshkian asserted, “Iran will not relinquish its right to use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.”<\/p>\n
Reiterating Iran’s readiness for self-defense, he said, “Resistance cannot be defeated through bombs or aggression. They imposed a war on Iran, but learned that Iranians do not fear war.”<\/p>\n
Pezeshkian remarked, “Israel possesses nuclear weapons, yet IAEA inspectors are actively pushing to visit Iran.”<\/p>\n
He added that while Tehran is open to dialogue, it will not accept any form of coercion or language of intimidation.<\/p>\n
