BNP Standing Committee member Aman Ullah Aman has remarked that a planned conspiracy by the fascists is underway. He called upon all anti-fascist forces to remain united in order to counter any plot aimed at destabilizing the country.<\/p>\n
He made these remarks yesterday, Tuesday afternoon, while addressing a rally organized by the Jatiyatabadi Matsyajibi Dal in front of the BNP’s central office in Nayapaltan, protesting attempts to destabilize the country through “orchestrated acts of terror.”<\/p>\n
Presided over by Amir Hossain Amir, Convener of the Matsyajibi Dal (Dhaka Metropolitan North), the rally was addressed by special guests including BNP Joint Secretary General Abdus Salam Azad MP, Volunteer Affairs Secretary Mir Sarafat Ali Sapu, Assistant Economic Affairs Secretary Mahmudur Rahman Sumon, and the immediate past Member Secretary of Matsyajibi Dal, Abdur Rahim.<\/p>\n
Others who spoke included the immediate past Joint Conveners of the Jatiyatabadi Matsyajibi Dal Central Committee\u2014Principal Selim Mia, Zakir Hossain Khan, Omar Faruk Patwari, and Jahangir Alam Sony.<\/p>\n
Citing historical examples, Aman Ullah Aman stated that just as the country is advancing towards development, a planned conspiracy by the fascists has begun. Having fled, they are now threatening to return. However, history shows that no fugitive fascist has ever managed to return; these individuals, too, will never be able to come back.<\/p>\n
Urging party leaders and activists to remain vigilant and united, he noted that the fugitive leadership is making various statements to boost the morale of their cadres, but mere words will not pave the way for a return. He also alleged that another quarter is attempting to spread slander against the BNP.<\/p>\n
Aman said, “Just as we waged the anti-fascist movement, we must all unite to thwart any conspiracy. The BNP will remain on the streets to counter any assault on democracy.”<\/p>\n
Addressing the activists, he declared, “There is no place for fascists and murderers in Bangladesh. Wherever they are spotted, they must be apprehended and handed over to law enforcement agencies.”<\/p>\n
