This information was disclosed on Wednesday in the Directorate General of Health Services&#8217; (DGHS) regular report on measles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to DGHS data, the total death toll from measles and measles-like symptoms in the country this year has risen to 1,108. Of these, 101 deaths were confirmed to be due to measles, while 1,007 individuals died with symptoms resembling the disease.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The report states that in the last 24 hours, one person died with measles-like symptoms in each of the Dhaka, Chattogram, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions. During the same period, 128 cases of measles were detected.
