Additionally, the court imposed a fine of Tk 1 lakh on each of them, with a provision for an additional three months of simple imprisonment in default of payment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Judge Mechbah Uddin Ahmed (Senior District and Sessions Judge) of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal announced the verdict on Wednesday (September 30) afternoon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to case records and the First Information Report (FIR), the victim was alone at home on the morning of August 12, 2020, as her mother had gone to work, as was her daily routine. Upon returning home that evening, the mother learned that the accused, Maruf and Swadhin, had entered the house around 3:00 PM and raped her daughter by turns.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The victim&#8217;s father filed a case with the Kotwali Model Police Station regarding the incident. Following a lengthy legal process and the examination of evidence, the court delivered this verdict after the charges against the accused were proven beyond reasonable doubt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Confirming the verdict, Public Prosecutor (PP) Advocate Bazlul Karim Chowdhury stated that the prosecution is fully satisfied and pleased with the ruling.
