Russia’s Center Battlegroup has liberated the Novogrodovka area of \u200b\u200bthe Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed.<\/p>\n
Russian troops overpowered Ukraine’s 47th Mechanized Brigade, 144th Infantry Brigade, 49th Assault Battalion and 109th Regional Defense Brigade, the Russian ministry said on Sunday. These forces were deployed in the Dzerzhinsk, Sherbinovka, Kleban-Baik, Mikhailovka, Krasnoyarmeisk, Grodovka, Galitsinovka and Dmitrov regions of the DPR.<\/p>\n
In addition, Russian forces repulsed 8 counterattacks by the Ukrainian 32nd, 100th Mechanized, 59th Motorized Infantry and 142nd Infantry, 25th Airborne Brigades.<\/p>\n
The defense ministry of Russia claims that in these cases, 560 soldiers of the enemy side have been killed, and there has been extensive damage. Among them – one tank, one US-made Maxpro and two Kozak armored vehicles, two vehicles, 152mm Msta-B howitzer and three 122mm D-30 howitzers were destroyed.<\/p>\n
The Russian Defense Ministry also said that its forces also attacked the temporary deployment of Ukraine’s Special Operations Center South.<\/p>\n
