Mohammad Shahidul Islam, Vice President of Sylhet Metropolitan Awami League, was arrested during a late-night police raid in Sylhet city on Monday. Police sources said he was detained following an operation at his residence. However, authorities have not yet disclosed specific details regarding the allegations.
