Convey the government’s development activities to the people: State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir has urged everyone to convey the government’s development activities to the public and to ensure that the benefits of government-undertaken projects reach ordinary people effectively, without engaging in factionalism. He stated, “Personal likes or dislikes are not the main issue; whoever carries out development must be welcomed. One cannot move forward by despising development.”

He made these remarks on Saturday (September 5) at 1:00 PM while speaking at a ceremony held at the Vishwanath Upazila Parishad grounds, where food packs were distributed to 750 beneficiaries courtesy of ‘UAE Aid’.

Present at the distribution event were Vishwanath Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Zahid Bin Kashem; Vishwanath Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Gazi Md. Mahbubur Rahman; Lamakazi Union Parishad Chairman Kabir Hossain Dhala Mia; Upazila BNP Vice-President Nazmul Islam Ruhel; former Acting Chairman of Deokols Union Parishad Khairul Amin Azad; BNP leader Zainal Abedin; Upazila Jubo Dal Joint Convener Rumel Ali; Municipal Jubo Dal Joint Convener Amir Ali; District Chhatra Dal Joint Secretaries Tajul Islam Saju and Abdul Kaiyum; Deokols Union BNP Joint Secretary and former Chhatra Dal Joint Convener Tarek Ahmad; Sylhet District Jubo Dal Assistant Secretary Jahangir Alam; and Private University Chhatra Dal Vice-President Akirul Islam Jisan, along with leaders from the local BNP and its affiliated organizations. Following the State Minister’s speech, food packs were handed over to the 750 beneficiaries of the Upazila.
