Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has sent a bouquet of flowers to former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia on her birthday.
BNP Standing Committee member and BNP Chairperson’s personal physician Professor AZM Zahid Hossain said this on Friday afternoon.
He said, as you know, today is the birthday of three-time Prime Minister and national leader Begum Khaleda Zia, the mother of democracy. She does not celebrate any events. However, the party is holding Milad-Doa mahfils across the country. The chief advisor of the interim government sent a bouquet of flowers for Madam this afternoon. His officials brought it to her Gulshan residence.
The Chief Advisor’s Private Secretary Sajeeb M Khairul Islam and the Director of the Chief Advisor’s Office Mohammad Nazmul Islam handed over the bouquet of flowers to Khaleda Zia’s Private Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar at her residence ‘Firoza’ in Gulshan at 4 pm on Friday.
BNP Executive Committee member Belayet Hossain, Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan, and the Chairperson’s Personal Wing officer Masud Rahman were present at the time.
Meanwhile, the Chinese Embassy sent a bouquet of flowers on behalf of the Chinese Ambassador on her birthday last night.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia was born on August 15, 1945 in Dinajpur. She turned 81.
