BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has promised to fulfill the demand to divide Faridpur if he wins the 13th National Parliament election. For this, he has sought votes under the symbol of a sheaf of rice in the February 12 election.
Tarique Rahman made this promise as the chief guest in an election rally at the historic Government Rajendra College ground in Faridpur on Wednesday (February 4) afternoon.
He also promised to solve one of the problems of Faridpur, river erosion. Along with this, the BNP Chairman highlighted the construction of the Padma Barrage to solve the water crisis.
He also spoke about cooperation and increasing employment for farmers. For this, he highlighted the benefits of the ‘farmer card’ promised by the party.
Referring to Jamaat, Tarique Rahman said that a conspiracy has begun against people’s right to vote. People call them by secret names. When the time comes, they have one form, then another. Not only do they change their forms, but they also have no trust and confidence in the people. An example of this is the head of the secret group who said very dirty things about girls. Nothing good can be expected from them. People saw their role in 1971.
