BNP Standing Committee member and party candidate for Dhaka-3 constituency Gayeshwar Chandra Roy said, “We are not thinking about victory or defeat now. We just want voters to not face any difficulty while voting. Our success will be in getting voters to vote at the polling stations.”

Gayeshwar Roy said this during an election campaign and mass mobilization at Shubhadhya Union in South Keraniganj, Dhaka on Tuesday afternoon.

Gayeshwar Roy said, “We want voters to go to the polling stations and vote without any problems. They should not face any difficulty in voting. We are not thinking about the election results now. Our hope is that the atmosphere of democracy will return through the vote.’

Noting that no one left the BNP in Keraniganj and joined another party, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy said, ‘Those who have joined the nominal party, find out who they are. What is their real identity? BNP has gone through many difficult times and bad times. For a long time, BNP leaders and workers in South Keraniganj have been victims of attacks and cases. In the current situation, someone will leave the party and join the nominal party—that is nothing but a complete stunt.’
