The Chinese military has entered about 60 km into Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh, a part of the strategically important 7 states in the northeastern region of India. China’s People’s Liberation Army (PAL) has camped in Kapapu area of Anjao district in Arunachal Pradesh.
The local media Arunachal Twenty Four and NewsFi have reported this sensational information. According to reports, Chinese names written on stones and pictures of Chinese food items were found to confirm the presence of Chinese troops in the Kapapu area.
According to various sources, Chinese troops entered there about a week ago. The picture shows the year 2024 written on the stone in English, which is being used as a ploy to claim ownership of Indian territory.
According to NewsFi, there is an Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) camp at Kapapur near the Hadigra Pass on the McMahon Line that divides the two countries. Chaglagam, the nearest administrative area of Anjao district, is about 90 km from the McMahon Line.
Earlier in August 2022, pictures circulated on social media showed the Chinese military building infrastructure near Hadigra Lake. The Indian Army then confirmed the existence of a camp of Chinese soldiers less than 30 km from Chaglagam.
The Chinese military entered Indian territory in Arunachal’s Dibang Valley district in 2020 and constructed a wooden bridge over the Doimru Nala in 2019. China claims large parts of India’s Arunachal Pradesh, where China shares a total of 3,488 kilometers of border with India. Of this, the disputed Arunachal border with China is 1,126 km.
