BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has commented that the miscreants have once again indulged in the act of profiteering by creating anarchy in the country. He made this comment in a statement on Wednesday.

BNP Secretary General said that a group of armed miscreants attacked Narayanganj Metropolitan BNP Member Secretary Abu Al Yusuf Khan Tipu when he crossed the Shitalakshya River to join the peace rally on September 6. seriously injured him. After the fall of the Awami dictatorial ruling group in the students’ movement, the miscreants have once again indulged in profiteering by creating anarchy with unstable situation in the country.

He said, the barbaric attack on Abu Al Yusuf Khan Tipu and the incident of seriously injuring him is the manifestation of that inhumanity. There is no alternative to suppressing these terrorists with strong hands. People of all classes and professions should be united to protect the lives and property of the people of the country, including the establishment of democracy and people’s right to vote.

Fakhrul called for the immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of those who attacked Tipu and wished for his speedy recovery.
