The Advisory Council has approved the draft of the ‘Policies for Disclosure of Income and Assets Statements of Interim Government Advisers and Persons of Equivalent Class, 2024’ presented by the Cabinet Division on Thursday (September 19). This approval was given in the meeting of the advisory council at the office of the chief adviser. Chief advisor. Muhammad Yunus presided over the meeting.
This information has been informed in a press release of the cabinet department. It is said that the draft policy for disclosure of income and asset statements of advisers to the interim government and persons of equal status was prepared and presented in the advisory council meeting.
Advisers to the Interim Government and persons of equivalent rank who are engaged in Government or Republic work shall submit their income and assets statement to the Chief Adviser through the Cabinet Division in Schedule annexed to the Rules within 15 working days of the last date of submission of income tax every year. Keeping this provision, the policy of publication of the draft income and asset statement was approved in the advisory council meeting, said the cabinet department.
In the meantime, the public administration ministry said that all government employees will have to account for their assets. For this, a committee is working under the leadership of the Secretary of the Anti-Corruption Commission.
