A low pressure is likely to develop over the coastal areas of West Bengal and adjoining Southwest Bangladesh during the next 24 hours. Due to this, it may rain intermittently in the capital for a few days.

In the next 24 hours, there is a chance of rain with gusty winds at most places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions and many places in Chittagong and Barisal divisions. Heavy to very heavy rain may occur at some places. During this time the day and night temperature may remain almost unchanged.
The forecast for the last 24 hours has said that there may be temporary gusty winds along with thunder in most places of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, many places of Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chittagong divisions and some places of Khulna and Barisal divisions. Also, there is a risk of heavy rainfall in some places. Day and night temperature may increase slightly during this time.
