South Korean writer Han Kang won the Nobel Prize in Literature this time. The announcement was made on Thursday (October 10) at 1 pm local time in Sweden and 5 pm Bangladesh time.
The Secretary General of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences Professor Hans Ellegren announced the name of the winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2024 through a ceremony in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, at 1 am local time and 5 pm Bangladesh time.
This information was informed in a press release of the academy. It is said that in 2023, the Norwegian writer and playwright Jon Fosse won the Nobel Prize in Literature. Appreciating his plays and literature, the Swedish Academy said that he brought out many words that remained unspoken in writing.
