The US has deployed anti-missile systems and troops to Israel. This information was published in the US media. This has been confirmed by the Pentagon. The Pentagon said long-range anti-missile systems and military crews were being sent to Israel.
Pentagon Press Secretary Pat Ryder said in a statement that the Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) battery is being deployed and military personnel are being sent to Israel as directed by US President Joe Biden and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
The initiative is being taken to help strengthen Israel’s air defenses following Iran’s unprecedented attacks against Israel on April 13 and October 1.
