A delegation of ‘Amra BNP Paribas’ has provided medical assistance to those injured in the shootings in Mirpur, Savar and Uttara in the capital Dhaka during the 24th mass uprising and met with their family members.
The delegation met the injured on behalf of Tarek Rahman, the acting chairman of BNP and the main sponsor of ‘Amra BNP Paribas’. The injured are Murad Islam, Harun Mia, Bashir Uddin, Ohidul Islam Antar, Md. Shahidullah.
On Friday (November 1), Masud Rana Liton, the Mymensingh Divisional Vice-President of the Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal and a senior member of ‘Amra BNP Paribas’, visited the homes of the injured undergoing treatment at the Neuro Science Hospital in the capital Dhaka and conveyed a message of sympathy to them on behalf of Tarek Rahman.
Present at the time were – Local Government Affairs Secretary of the Nationalist Farmers’ Party, Agriculture Md. Ekramul Haque Ekram, Member Secretary of ‘Amra BNP Paribas’, Agriculture Mokchedul Momin Mithun, Member Shakil Ahmed. Former Joint General Secretary of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University Nationalist Chhatra Dal, Nahian Hossain Ninad, Current President of Shekrub Chhatra Dal, Taposh Kabir, Chhatra Dal leader Shahinur Islam Roni, etc.
Meanwhile, the concerned family members expressed gratitude to BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman for standing by the injured in the mass uprising of 24.
It is worth noting that Ohidul Islam Antar and Md. Shahidullah, 9th grade students who were shot in Uttara during the mass movement of the students and the public, were also provided medical assistance by a delegation led by Mustakim Billah, Member of ‘Amra BNP Paribas’, on behalf of BNP’s Tarique Rahman.
