There is a possibility of storms over eight regions of the country by the evening. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain with thunder.

This information was given in the forecast given for the country’s inland river ports from 9 am to 6 pm on Wednesday (November 6).

The warning message signed by Meteorological Department meteorologist Md. Monowar Hossain said that there is a possibility of storms over Barisal, Patuakhali, Khulna, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet regions by 6 pm.

This storm may come from the southwest or west at a speed of 45-60 kilometers per hour. Along with this, there may be rain or thunderstorms.

The forecast says that temporary gusty or squally winds with rain or thundershowers at a speed of 45-60 kmph are likely to blow from the southwest/west over Barisal, Patuakhali, Khulna, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet regions by 6 pm. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
