There has been another reshuffle in the Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP). 3 officers of the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police have been transferred to different units.
On Wednesday (November 20), Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md. Mainul Islam signed a notification to transfer them.
Sylhet Metropolitan Police Additional Deputy Commissioner Md. Abdul Karim has been made Additional Superintendent of Police of Sherpur Sadar Circle. APBN Additional Superintendent of Police Rajib Kumar Deb has been made Additional Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police and Police Headquarters Additional Superintendent of Police Aklima Akhter has been made Additional Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police.
The notification said that they have been posted in the public interest until further orders. This order will come into effect immediately.
