The Constitutional Reform Commission led by Professor Ali Riaz paid a courtesy call on Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed.
On Wednesday afternoon, the members of the commission met at the Chief Justice’s office in the Supreme Court. During this time, they discussed various issues of constitutional reform.
The delegation included members of the commission, Barrister Imran Siddique, Professor Mohammad Ikramul Haque, Dr. Sharif Bhaiu, Barrister M. Moin Alam Firozi, Firoz Ahmed, and Md. Mustain Billah.
During the meeting, the progress of the activities of the Constitutional Reform Commission was discussed. In the meeting, the Chief Justice and the members of the commission exchanged views on how to make the judicial process free from interference and make justice easily accessible to the public through necessary reforms to the constitution and judicial system.
