The newly appointed Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Dr. Mohammad Abdul Momen, has decided to ban 5 former members of parliament (MPs) and their family members from traveling abroad during the Awami League government on the first day of his commission’s working day.
The decision was announced by the agency’s public relations officer, Akhtarul Islam, from the ACC head office on Thursday (December 12).
These former MPs are: Alauddin Ahmed Chowdhury Nasim of Feni-1 constituency, Nur Nabi Chowdhury Shaon of Bhola-3 constituency, Abu Zahir of Habiganj-3 constituency, HM Ibrahim of Noakhali-1 constituency and Nur Uddin Chowdhury Nayon of Lakshmipur-2 constituency.
