On the occasion of the great Victory Day, members of the Bir Shrestha family were given a reception at Bangabhaban. President Md. Shahabuddin extended his greetings to the members of the Bir Shrestha family on the occasion of Victory Day.

The reception was given at Bangabhaban on Monday afternoon.

At this time, the President gratefully remembered the contribution of the Bir Shrestha in the great Liberation War and said that their contribution will be forever remembered by the nation.

The President exchanged greetings with the members of the Bir Shrestha family.

Advisor to the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, freedom fighter Faruk-e-Azam (Bir Pratik) was present at the event as a special guest.

Senior Secretary of the President’s Office Nasimul Gani and Secretary of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs Israt Chowdhury presented gifts to the members of the Bir Shrestha family at the event.

Military Secretary to the President Major General Mohammad Adil Chowdhury and Press Secretary Md. Joynal Abedin were present at the event.
