After arriving in the UK for advanced treatment, BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia was taken to a London clinic.
BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman drove his mother Khaleda Zia to the London clinic from London’s Heathrow Airport.
The air ambulance carrying the BNP Chairperson landed at London’s Heathrow International Airport at 8:59 am local time on Wednesday.
Then, when mother Khaleda Zia came to her son in a wheelchair, he immediately hugged him and welcomed him. An emotional and sweet atmosphere was created there in an instant. He may have forgotten the sorrow of being deprived of the right to hug his mother for a while.
In addition, UK BNP President MA Malek and General Secretary Qaysor M Ahmed were present. At that time, leaders and activists present outside the airport welcomed Khaleda Zia to London and raised various slogans.
BNP Chairperson’s Media Wing official Shamsuddin Didar confirmed this information and said that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia was taken to the hospital from Heathrow Airport after arriving in London.
The BNP Chairperson last visited London in July 2017. After that, she did not make any other foreign trips. During this period, her son Tarique Rahman also did not meet her directly.
Former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia left Dhaka in an air ambulance on Tuesday night. The air ambulance sent by the Emir of Qatar took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:46 pm.
