Chief Election Commissioner A. M. M. Nasir Uddin said, a major purpose of going door-to-door to register voters is to create awareness among the people. Those who go to the houses will give a message to the voters that this time the voting will not be like before. You can cast your vote. For this purpose, an awakening has to be created among the people. Various campaigns will be carried out so that all voters, including women voters, come to the polling stations.
He also said, we want to hold a fair and acceptable election, there is no ambiguity in this. Our goal is one, we have not come to win any party or group or to prevent any person from winning the election. We have come to hold a fair and acceptable election. Our expectation is that the one whom the people vote for will win. Now the voting will not be like before. We are warning that we will be firm on this matter. No concessions will be made.
