Bangladesh will urge India to stop border killings and firing at the border at the BGB and BSF Director General-level conference, Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said.
He said, “There will be effective discussions in this meeting on stopping firing and killing by the Indian Border Guard Force.”
In addition, the conference to be held in New Delhi from February 17 to 20 will also discuss stopping the propaganda spread in the Indian media. The Home Affairs Advisor also said, “The issue of amending or canceling the unequal agreement will be discussed in the BGB-BSF meeting.”
