18 soldiers and 23 terrorists were killed in overnight clashes in Pakistan, the country’s military media wing said.

The clash took place in the Kalat district of Balochistan province on Friday night.

According to a report by Pakistani media Dawn, the country’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Saturday that armed terrorists tried to barricade a road in the Mangoch area of ​​Balochistan’s Kalat district on Friday night. At that time, a group of soldiers stopped them. This led to the clash.

The statement said that the aim of this cowardly terrorist attack carried out by hostile and enemy forces was to disrupt the peaceful environment of Balochistan and target innocent civilians.

However, the security forces and law enforcement agencies reacted quickly and foiled the terrorists’ plan and eliminated 12 terrorists. So that the safety of the local people is ensured.

The ISPR also said that 18 brave soldiers were martyred during the operation while fighting bravely. At the same time, the security forces are continuing the operation to eliminate terrorists in the area and those involved in this heinous and cowardly attack will be brought to justice.
