550 pieces of blankets and 550 pieces of sweaters have been distributed in Srimangal, Moulvibazar by the initiative of Gulshan Banani Puja Foundation.
The winter clothes were distributed in various areas of Srimangal Mirzapur and Bhunbir Union of Moulvibazar district on Sunday (February 2) morning. Present at the event were Gulshan Puja Foundation Vice President Sudhanshu Kumar Das, members Apurba Kumar Saha, Manoj Sengupta, Manimala Saha, Radhesham Ghosh Raju, Banamali Mandal, Abhijit Das, Sajeeb Kumar Bhakta, Srimangal Mirzapur Union Puja Celebration Council General Secretary Samiran Dev, painter Biplob Dev, journalist Born Chakraborty, Al Ibrahim and Shyamoli Sayestaganj Manager Md. Shahid Ahmed.
Gulshan Puja Foundation Vice President Sudhanshu Kumar Das said that every year, winter clothes are distributed in various tea gardens of Srimangal and Moulvibazar under the initiative of Gulshan Puja Foundation. Like every year, this year too, they have gifted one blanket and one sweater to five hundred and fifty people.
He said that besides Srimangal, they will distribute these winter clothes in several other places in Moulvibazar this week.
Earlier, the Shyamoli Paribahan Srimangal family honored the leaders of the Gulshan Puja Foundation by giving them Uttariya for coming from far away Dhaka to the remote areas of Srimangal and standing by the people.
