The Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal held a ‘March for Justice’ and memorandum program in more than 2,600 educational institutions across the country on Thursday.

The organization held this pre-announced program demanding ‘proper trial of all terrorist activities of the banned organization Chhatra League in educational institutions and ensuring punishment of the terrorists and taking appropriate action after investigation of those who played a role as allies of fascism in the mass uprising of the students and the public in July-August.

As part of this, programs were held at Dhaka University, Jagannath University, Dhaka College, Titumir College, Kabi Nazrul Government College, Government Bangla College, and other government and private universities and colleges on this day.

At that time, the leaders said that people were angry because Sheikh Hasina did not apologize for the July-August massacre and attacked No. 32. After the change of government in 1975, this house remained intact from the time of Ziaur Rahman to the time of Khaleda Zia’s coalition government. But even after the massacre in the July coup, Sheikh Hasina’s statement shows no remorse.

Led by Chhatra Dal central president Rakibul Islam Rakib, the leaders and activists of the organization held a ‘March for Justice’ program at the government-run Titumir College in the afternoon. Then, they submitted a memorandum to the principal on behalf of Chhatra Dal. At that time, leaders and activists of Titumir College branch of Chhatra Dal were present.

After the ‘March for Justice’ program at Dhaka College, Chhatra Dal central general secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir said that what happened in house number 32 was done by the speed of the mass uprising or the people aggrieved by the mass uprising. Earlier, Chhatra Dal leaders submitted a memorandum to the principal of Dhaka College. Later, the leaders and activists circled the campus with an anti-Chhatra League procession. The Kabi Nazrul Government College branch of Chhatra Dal also submitted a memorandum to the principal with the same demand.

At that time, more than a hundred leaders and activists including Chhatra Dal’s central organizing secretary Aman Ullah Aman, central joint secretary Mojibul Haque Ripon, assistant general secretaries Bayjid Shraban, Anisur Rahman Khan, Nikhil Chandra Shraban, assistant organizing secretary Mahmud Bhuiyan, Kabi Nazrul Government College Chhatra Dal convener Irfan Ahmed Fahim and member secretary Nazmul Hasan were present.

The Dhaka University branch of Chhatra Dal also held a ‘March for Justice’ and a memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor program. In the afternoon, the leaders and activists submitted a memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University (DU). Earlier, the procession started from the Student-Teacher Center (TSC) and circled the entire campus.

DU branch Chhatra Dal President Ganesh Chandra Roy Sahas, General Secretary Nahiduzzaman Shipon, Senior Vice President Masum Billah, Vice President Anisur Rahman Khandaker Anik, Senior Joint General Secretary Nasir Uddin Shaon, Joint General Secretary Shamim Akhter Shuvo, Organizing Secretary Nur Alam Bhuiyan Emon and others were present at the time.

Jagannath University branch Chhatra Dal leaders and activists held a procession on the campus and held a program. At that time, they also submitted a memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor. At that time, Chhatra Dal convener Mehedi Hasan Himel and member secretary Shamsul Arefin, along with leaders and activists, were present.
