BNP’s central sports affairs secretary and Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP convener Aminul Haque has commented that complete reform in the country is never possible by keeping the ghosts of dictatorship in state institutions.
He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the Dhaka Metropolitan North Badda Thana BNP workers’ meeting and the 31-point workshop on state repair at the Merul Badda DIT Project Ground in the capital on Monday.
Aminul Haque said that the dictatorial rule of the last 15 years has destroyed Bangladesh. Reforms will never happen by keeping those ghosts of fascism in state institutions.
He also said that although Bangladesh was free from dictatorship in the mass uprising of students and the public in July-August, it could not be completely free from dictatorship. Democracy has not been fully established. The basic needs of the people of Bangladesh have not been fully met yet.
The BNP leader said that one of the reasons for this is that the ghosts of tyranny are still sitting in various state institutions and media in Bangladesh. Because of those Awami dictatorial ghosts, we are still smelling conspiracy in different parts of Bangladesh.
Aminul Haque said that BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has outlined a 31-point agenda with the aim of reforming the ruined state institutions left behind by the tyrannical Awami government. We have to convey the message of that agenda to the grassroots people of all over Bangladesh.
Under the chairmanship of Badda Thana BNP Acting Convener Abdul Quader Babu, Senior Joint Convener Emdadul Haque Emda, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman’s advisor Dr. Mahdi Amin, BNP Microfinance Affairs Secretary Dr. MA Qayyum, Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Member Secretary Md. Mustafa Zaman, Metropolitan Joint Convener Mostafizur Rahman Segun, SM Jahangir Hossain, Ferdousi Ahmed Mishti, ABMA Razzak, Akhter Hossain, Ataur Rahman Chairman, Gazi Rezaunul Hossain Riaz, Tahirul Islam Tuhin, Haji Md.
