Election Commissioner Anwarul Islam said that the Election Commission is preparing for the possible time of December. He said this at a program organized at the Munshiganj Deputy Commissioner’s Office on Wednesday (February 26) evening.
Commissioner Anwarul Islam exchanged views with various officials at the district and upazila levels as part of the voter list update program at the program.
He said that the Honorable Chief Advisor said in a speech given on December 16 that the national election could be held in December or by June 2026. Accordingly, the Election Commission is making all preparations in advance of December.
He also said, “We believe that it will be possible to organize the election in the upcoming December.”
