Night and day temperatures may increase slightly across the country. In addition, there is a possibility of light thundershowers in one or two places in Rangpur division, the Meteorological Department said.

This information was given in the 72-hour forecast signed by meteorologist Dr. Muhammad Abul Kalam Mallick on Friday.

The forecast says that the normal low pressure of the season is located in the southern Bay of Bengal.

In this situation, the weather may remain dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies on Friday (February 28), but there is a possibility of light thundershowers in one or two places in Rangpur division. Night and day temperatures may increase slightly across the country.

Saturday (March 1), the weather may remain dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies, but there is a possibility of light thundershowers in one or two places in Sylhet division. Day and night temperatures may increase by 1-3 degrees across the country.

Sunday (March 02), the weather may remain dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies. Day and night temperatures across the country are likely to remain almost unchanged.

The Meteorological Department also said that night and day temperatures are likely to decrease in the next 5 days.
