A school teacher who was observing Itikaf in Zakiganj, Sylhet, has died suddenly. The teacher died at the Gechua Boro Mohalla Mosque on Sunday (March 23) afternoon.
The deceased teacher is Juned Ahmed, a resident of Gechua Boro Mohalla in Sultanpur Union of Zakiganj Upazila and assistant headmaster of Ganipur-Kamalganj School and College. His death has cast a shadow of mourning over the local area. He had started observing Itikaf in the mosque for 10 days since the 20th of Ramadan.
Abdullah Al Mamun Samon, a close relative of the deceased school teacher, confirmed the truth of this matter.
