Star cricketer Tamim Iqbal suffered a heart attack before the start of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) match. He is currently undergoing treatment at the KPG Specialized Hospital in Savar. A ring was inserted on an emergency basis after a heart block was detected.
In a message on Monday (March 24), the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) wished for Tamim Iqbal’s recovery. In addition, the BCB requested fans not to crowd the hospital to check on Tamim’s health or see him.
The BCB said in a message that Tamim was given prompt and emergency treatment. He is still under observation by doctors. The BCB and the Chief Advisor’s office are regularly checking on him. The BCB is also closely monitoring Tamim’s situation.
The BCB requested fans and visitors to not crowd the hospital. This may disrupt the hospital’s environment. Which may disrupt Tamim’s treatment. Fans will be informed of the next update on Tamim’s health.
BCB and Tamim’s family have prayed for his speedy recovery.
