Three brothers were on their way to deliver Eid gifts brought from Dhaka to their relatives on a motorcycle. However, everything ended on the way. They were killed on the spot when a Dhaka-bound bus named Rajib Paribahan collided head-on with a motorcycle.

The accident occurred at around 7:30 am on Saturday in the Sonarbangla area of ​​Patharghata upazila of Pirojpur. Police have arrested the bus supervisor and the driver’s assistant in this incident.

The deceased are Naimuzzaman Khan Shuvo (22), Shanto Khan (14) and Nadim Khan (8), sons of Nasir Uddin Khan of Baishkura village of Tikikata union of Mathbaria upazila.

Of the four children of the couple, the one-and-a-half-year-old son Hasan drowned in water in the month of Ramadan 2023. This time, the remaining three sons died in a road accident.

Mother Shiuli Begum was repeatedly fainting while walking home in grief over the loss of her three sons. She cried and said, “Everything is over for me. Alas, where will I find my children?”

Rifat Molla, the cousin of the deceased Shuvo, said that he and his cousin worked in a garment factory in Savar. Shuvo got off work on Friday at 9:30 pm and reached his grandparents’ house in the early hours of the morning. In the morning, I received news of the accident.
