Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman has said that no advice from Sheikh Hasina sitting in Delhi can hinder the judicial system of Bangladesh. He said that no matter how many conspiracies are made, the trial of fascist allies and murderers will be held on Bengali soil.
He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the first reunion program of the Survey Biswas Degree College in Bagutia village of Shailkupa upazila of Jhenaidah on Wednesday (April 2) afternoon.
The Attorney General said, “The blood debt of the martyrs who freed the country from fascism in the July Revolution must be paid. A week before Sheikh Hasina fled to India in a helicopter, she gave the signal to her relatives to leave the country. However, Hasina and her family members fled the country, putting thousands of Awami League leaders and activists in danger.”
Calling for a social movement against the corrupt, he said, “Sheikh Hasina is trying to create a riot in the country by making provocative statements while sitting in Kolkata, India. But we have sworn on the blood of martyr Abu Said, martyr Mughd, and martyr Anas – fascist Hasina and her friends will be tried on the soil of Bengal. We are ready to give our lives if necessary. We will completely free the country from fascism.”
The program was presided over by Mohidul Islam, a former student of the Survey Biswas Degree College. Prominent figures including Islamic University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Naqib Mehmood Nasrullah also spoke at the event.
