Advisor to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Md. Mahfuz Alam exchanged post-Eid greetings with the officials of the ministry.

The exchange of greetings was held at the meeting room of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at the Secretariat on Sunday (April 6). At the time, the advisor urged the officials of the ministry to work sincerely for the implementation of the recommendations of the Media Reform Commission for speedy implementation.

Stressing the need to increase field-level propaganda activities, he said that the district information offices should widely disseminate messages of public importance in remote areas. Urging the press wing of Bangladeshi embassies abroad to increase the pace of work, he said that the press wing should play an effective role in preventing propaganda against the country in foreign media. The advisor urged the officials concerned to make the departments and organizations under the ministry dynamic and up-to-date.

Officials at various levels of the ministry were present at the greetings exchange ceremony.
