The ‘Freedom Concert’ to be held in Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna and Bogra has been temporarily postponed in solidarity with the oppressed people in Gaza and Rafah in Palestine.

A press release by ‘Sabar Aye Bangladesh Foundation’ on Monday (April 7) night announced the temporary postponement of the event.

The release said that the concert, which was to be held simultaneously in Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna and Bogra on April 12, was decided to be postponed one day later.

Incidentally, the ‘Freedom Concert’ organized by ‘Sabar Aye Bangladesh Foundation’ with the participation of Bangladeshi artists to celebrate the great Independence Day (March 26) in a public manner, was scheduled to be held on Manik Mia Avenue in front of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in the capital Dhaka and at separate venues in Chittagong, Khulna and Bogra on the same day.

President of ‘Bangladesh First Foundation’ Shahiduddin Chowdhury Annie and General Secretary Rakibul Islam Bakul strongly protested the Israeli aggression in Gaza in a statement last night.

They said that it is not possible to express the condemnation of such terrible barbarity in words. Despite Israel’s barbarity, the indifferent behavior of the world is even more inhuman.

Express your opinion.
