Two more people have died of dengue fever, which is transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes. They died in the next 24 hours from Friday morning. During this time, 22 people have been admitted to hospitals after being infected.
This information was revealed from a press release of the Health and Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Saturday.
According to the information received from the release, 22 people have been admitted to various government and private hospitals in the country after being infected with dengue in the last 24 hours. Among the new infected, 10 people have been admitted to various hospitals in Dhaka. And 12 more have been admitted to various hospitals outside Dhaka. So far, 16 people have died from the infection this year, of whom 62.5 percent are men and 37.5 percent are women. A total of 2,074 people have been infected with dengue from January 1 to April 12 of this year. Of these, 62 are men and 38 percent are women.
